Standard Mingle templates
Introduction
Mingle is shipped with three standard templates. These templates are useful when you first start a new Mingle project as they illustrate how Mingle's functionality can be used in different scenarios and for different types of projects or team.
The standard templates
- XP template (2.0) - is a template that illustrates how Mingle can be used on a small Extreme Programming (XP) project. It can be used for any small team that needs basic card tracking and reporting. The template contains some sample cards to illustrate how you might set-up different card types, use card transitions and charts.
- Scrum template (2.0) - is a template designed to allow users to maintain (and report on) both a Product Backlog and a Sprint Backlog, the common vehicles for tracking progress against scope in a Scrum project. It also shows how card trees can be used to create card relationships and aggregate properties.
- Agile hybrid template (2.0) - is a template that represents a hybrid Agile approach to project tracking that supports release and iteration-based planning. The template includes some sample cards to illustrate the use of Mingle's ability to work with multiple card types, card transitions, relationship between cards and charts on a larger Agile project.
