Often the Project Manager has to budget the team's time. In such cases it is useful for the PM to assign the tasks to team members himself. Mingle provides several ways to do the same.

Assign tasks to members
- In Mingle, the owner property can be set to any team member who has access to the project.
Changing the owner property for a story card to a particular team member, assigns that card to him/her,
and it shows up in his/her work queue.
Drag and drop cards across swim lanes
- A Project Manager can set up a custom card view of the project (arranged by the card owner), and simply drag and drop cards across swim lanes.
