Quick Tour

Project Collaboration using Card Walls

At the heart of Mingle are Story Cards and Card Walls, which keep all team members on the same page.

Mingle Grid View

  • Card wall views make Mingle highly interactive and visual.
  • Track stories, tasks and defects easily through custom views.
  • Helps Project Managers, Developers, Business Analysts and QAs collaborate and get work done.
  • Supports all methodologies, including but not limited to Lean, XP, Scrum and hybrid approaches.

Real-time Project Tracking using Reports

Mingle generates real-time reports to show clearly how the agile project is going.

Reports in Mingle
  • Meaningful intelligence through customizable reports and metrics such as Velocity, Burn-down charts etc.
  • Real-time information on current status of project. Create once and the charts will be updated as your project changes.

Integrated wiki for Project Documentation

A single page allows you to view all the relevant details for each card.

Cards in Mingle
  • Descriptions associated with each card allow full wiki mark-up and quick tagging for ad-hoc groupings.
  • Add screenshots or any other text/images of choice to every card.
  • Discussions in the form of comments can also be tracked next to a card. Relevant team conversations are always at hand.

Custom Project Properties and Workflows for Project Management

Mingle, the Project Tracking and Management tool, recognizes that each team has a unique style of functioning, and does not impose a process. Properties and Transitions enable you to follow the process that works for your team, making custom project management a reality.

Reports in Mingle
  • Set up your projects with custom properties such as "Owner", "Expected Date of Completion" and "Effort Estimate."
  • Transitions (e.g. "Development Complete") help setup your workflow, which is completely flexible and can be modeled according to your process.
  • Mingle also has a number of predefined templates, so you can be productive straightaway.

Break Down Complexity using Card TreesTM

The use of Card Trees can greatly reduce the complexities in your project hierarchy.

Tree and Configuration of Tree
  • Card Trees give you the capability to manage your project hierarchies by spreading them out in a tree format.
  • You can also roll up metrics from a lower level to a higher level, which can give you a quick look at each iteration or feature.
  • Card Trees are completely customizable. You can configure them as you need, filter through them, even view them in a simple list-like hierarchy view.

New in Mingle 2.1: Improved Access Management

When you have several agile projects going on, all stakeholders may not need the same degree of access to all projects. Use Mingle 2.1 to set four levels of access depending on the extent of project participation.
  • Project Administration for those that need to change the structure of the project(s)
  • Team Membership for other core participants (such as PMs, BAs, Devs, QAs) that form the core of the project effort
  • Read-only Team Membership for named observers like Portfolio Managers and clients
  • Anonymous Access for a wider group of stakeholders such as public community members

Multi-level access control
