After I have installed Mingle in my computer, I can access it. But my teammate can’t access Mingle. The Mingle post is 80.
And I have place an Apache server in my machine before. I don’t know if it will have relation with this.
There is nothing wrong with my computer configuration. For example, once I start my Apache server of a project, others in the LAN can access it.
So, I am sure I am missing something incredibly obvious.
Any idea/recomendation/help greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a config issue not a Mingle server issue.

Just to clarify, is it just one team mate that can not access it? Or no-one can access Mingle except for you? I know it is obvious but can your team mates ping your machine? What error do they get when they try to access Mingle? Are there any mingle.log errors?

It may also be valuable to look at our Mingle Installation Forum where similar issues may have been discussed.

No-one can access Mingle except me.
My team mates can ping my machine.
There is no mingle.log errors.

I use a proxy to get on the Internet. Is there any relationship with this ?
I can access Mingle with address of http://192.168.108.82:80/profile/login or
http://localhost/profile/login .

When they try to access Mingle the error they got is as following:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

River

I have a vague idea that the 192.168.x.x IP address you have is a privately assigned IP address that your team mates can not connect to. Try looking for an IP address starting 10.x.x.x.

FYI I am moving this post to the Troubleshooting Installation of Mingle forum where more knowledgeable advice on such matters may be forthcoming.

Sorry I have not been more helpful on this one.

OK-I found the promble was that because I used a proxy to get on the Internet. The proxy is a computer in the LAN whose ip is 192.168.108.3.

But I have set “Bypass proxy server for local addresses.” in the IE LAN setting.
And what is more, I have configured “Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with:192.168.108.*”.
So I am so curious about why this promble occurs. Does anybody knows ?

After I installed the Mingle in a computer do not use a proxy, the promble do not occurs again.

I am so glad the promble was solved.
