Job is scheduled to agent event when agent lacks resources to complete job#816

Aug 21, 2008 8:26am Pete Mounce 47 post(s) #2174	I was briefly flummoxed by a hung job earlier; it turns out that I’d added a resource to the job, and not set it up for the agent. In this situation, I would expect: Cruise to not pick that agent to schedule the job to A warning if no agents are available with all the resources (perhaps a feedback box to the right of the job title, on the activity pages?)

If you have a resource configured on a job that is not configured on an agent, that agent should not pick up the job. Did you add the resource to the job after it had been scheduled? We are planning to add a warning for jobs that cannot be built because no agent has the available resources.
