There is a “Formatting Help” page (http://studios.thoughtworks.com/mingle/2.0.1/help/formatting_help_component.html), but it doesn’t seem to include all the formatting tools available to use.

For example, if you insert a few underscores the page will format a horizontal rule. This is not documented.

Is there a way to get a complete list of available formatting options?

Hey Eric, Mingle uses RedCloth, which is a textile implementation in ruby. Most of the markup on this page http://hobix.com/textile/ should be valid, but there may be a few exceptions with some of the things because Mingle does a few extra things like linking cards.
