Cyndi Mitchell, Managing Director, ThoughtWorks Studios

Cyndi Mitchell is the Managing Director of ThoughtWorks Studios. She is responsible for global field operations, including product development, marketing, sales and strategy. Her global team of business and technical leaders spans China, India, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Since joining ThoughtWorks in November 2002, Cyndi has served ThoughtWorks in a variety of general management and consultancy roles. Most recently, she was Managing Director of ThoughtWorks UK between July 2005 and December 2006. Before joining ThoughtWorks, Cyndi was a Senior Architect with Sun Microsystems in New York, Chicago and London. Having started her career with Andersen Consulting in Chicago, she has moved on and provided software development, consultancy and advisory to a number of Global 1000 IT organizations.
Chad Wathington, Vice President of Product Development, ThoughtWorks Studios

Chad Wathington, is responsible for ensuring that ThoughtWorks Studios designs and delivers great products. As the Vice President of Product Development, he provides strategic vision and commercial direction for ThoughtWorks Studios.
Chad Wathington joined ThoughtWorks in 2004, after a stint in strategic consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Before joining the product division, he led the internal change management effort for ThoughtWorks' US business. Chad also has experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Project Manager. He has worked in various software industry verticals including manufacturing, health care, financial services, and consumer services. Chad is a Caterpillar Corp. trained Six Sigma Black Belt. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, Cambridge MA.
Jason Pfetcher, Associate General Counsel - ThoughtWorks

Jason Pfetcher, the Associate General Counsel at ThoughtWorks, is currently responsible for the legal aspects of the Studios division, as well as other operational and management areas. He brings 10 years of IT-related legal experience to the Studios team. Jason's primary legal expertise is in intellectual property, information technology and corporate law.
Jason has worked in the ThoughtWorks offices in the US and the UK, and at various times taken legal responsibility for ThoughtWorks operations in India, China and Hong Kong. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks in 2000, he was a principal in the law firm of Goodwin & Pfetcher in Chicago, Illinois. He obtained his degree in Law from Loyola University, Chicago and his degrees in Economics and in Global Studies from Rockhurst University.
Nagarjun "Nag" Kandukuru, Head of Marketing, ThoughtWorks Studios

A specialist in marketing early stage technology products, Nag is responsible for all messaging, branding and lead generation for
ThoughtWorks Studios' suite of products.
Prior to ThoughtWorks, Nag helped find and nurture markets for a
variety of technology, including email servers, handheld computers and
CRM software. Most recently, he helped position Talisma Corporation as
the worldwide leader in Customer Interaction Management (CIM)
solutions. His 10-year high tech career also includes work on the
acclaimed non-for-profit Simputer, a simple computer that aims to
bridge the digital divide. Nag holds a B.Tech from NIT, Warangal, India and an MBA in
Marketing Communications from Mudra Institute of Communications,
Ahmedabad (MICA), India. In December 2007, he completed his first half
marathon in a time of 1hr 58m.
Sudhir Tiwari, Head of Operations, ThoughtWorks Studios

Sudhir Tiwari is the Head of Operations for ThoughtWorks Studios. He has rich project management expertise in team and project design, software development, and client deployment. Sudhir has a strong background in financial software product development and systems integration with more than 13 years of experience. He also has wide experience in a variety of development methodologies and has played roles of a Technical Lead, Agile Coach among others.
Before joining ThoughtWorks, Sudhir worked at i-flex solutions. During his 10 year stint there, Sudhir worked on multiple products. He played key roles in the conceptualization/development of multiple products and managing the development and implementations of the same. He was part of the initial teams which developed i-flex's flagship product FLEXCUBE. He also conceptualized and led the External Gateway for FLEXCUBE. Sudhir received his Bachelor of Technology degree, in the field of Chemical Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli.

Adam Monago, Product Manager for Mingle, ThoughtWorks Studios

Adam Monago is the Product Manager for Mingle by ThoughtWorks Studios. In this role, Adam brings to bear the best practices of ThoughtWorkers around the globe to incorporate them into the vision and development of the preeminent collaboration tool for project teams worldwide.
Adam joined ThoughtWorks in 2004 and has held the positions of Client Principal, Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst and also served as the Global Analysis Community Lead. He has led and participated in engagements whose focus have ranged from strategic planning to custom solution development through organizational transformation. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks, Adam held positions with Computer Sciences Corporation, Citigroup and Prentice Hall Higher Education and had several years of experience leading high performance teams in the delivery of custom technology solutions across a wide range of industries. Adam holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University, and an M.S. in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology.
David Rice, Delivery and Tech Lead, ThoughtWorks Studios

David Rice serves as delivery manager and lead developer for the Mingle team. He has been on the team from day one and has been using Mingle since day two.
David has worked at ThoughtWorks for 12 years, leading teams in the development of software of all sizes. He has built systems using COBOL/CICS, Forte, Java/J2EE, .NET, and Rails. He was a major contributor to Martin Fowler's 2002 classic work, Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture. David holds a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek from Brown University.
Jez Humble, Product Manager for Cruise, ThoughtWorks Studios

Jez is the Product Manager for Cruise. As the founding leader of ThoughtWorks' build and deployment community, he has worked hard to capture and propagate best practices in the build, test and deployment space. His goal is to make Cruise the number one commercial continuous integration and release management server.
Jez has over eight years of professional experience in IT as a developer, system administrator, trainer and manager. He has worked with a variety of platforms and technologies, consulting for non-profits, telecoms, financial service and insurance service organizations. Since 2004 he has worked for ThoughtWorks in London and Bangalore and currently lives in Beijing. He holds a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University and an MMus in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Ola Bini, Developer and JRuby Evangelist, ThoughtWorks Studios

Ola Bini is a developer currently working for ThoughtWorks Studios in London, UK. He is from Sweden and has worked six years for Karolinska Institute in Stockholm before joining ThoughtWorks in 2007.
He is probably most well known for being one of the core developers of JRuby, and the author of the book "Practical JRuby on Rails" from APress. He has also been involved in lesser known open source projects, such as Jatha and uPortal too. Ola has no formal education, but since his early teens has spent most of his time in programming. His main interests include programming languages – the current favorites being Ruby, Lisp and Io - and everything involving artificial intelligence.
