Ian,

The 'localWorkingCopy' attributes will need to point to the same directory in both the 'svnbootstrapper' and the 'modificationset' elements. Happy to talk more on this - suggest that you drop me a line via http://tinyurl.com/6yt3lk.

This does not seem to work at all with 1.7.1. I get a SVN update message from the bootstrapper, but the modification is never detected by the modificationset. Painful.

How svnbootstraper updates the working copy? We are working with large source trees here, svn update takes up to 10 minutes even on the not changed working copy. If svnbootstraper runs svn update every min. it is just huge overhead. We do not have svn hook that updates some file on every commit, is there a way to use this file from the svnbootstrapper to prevent unwanted svn acitivity?

Hi Ben, Thanks for the feedback. You're right: the SvnBootstrapper won't accept the useLocalRevision attribute. The Svn Modification Set will however accept that attribute. It's being used on a project with dozens of developers and its making a huge difference. I'll get the article updated asap. Thanks again. Best Julian.
