Here's special contest for people attending RailsConf Europe. We want to have a little fun with JRuby and Java interop. So, we've modified the game from the Java Game Book, and put a little RubyWorks spin on it. We've provided some examples, which you can see running in our booth, of how to control the game via JRuby.

Steps
1) Install JRuby
2) Download the code here: Game Demo
3) Play with it!!! The example Ruby code is in /ruby
4) Show us what you can do with JRuby interop
5) Email your Ruby hacks (ruby text files only) to rubyworks [at] thoughtworks [dot] com

Prizes
1st Prize, Nokia E61i, goes to Coolest Hack
2nd Prize, a 3G IPod Nano, goes to fastest traversal of the game, which is only two short levels
3rd Prize, an IPod shuffle, goes to most Rubies captured
